Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotels & Residences

Stayed at the one bedroom residence which was huge, with a sofa bed for our young kids to share. Huge lovely bath tub, nice water pressure for showers, and nice spa toiletries for use. Came with microwave, fridge, stove, washing machine, even a new fangled ? Ironing machine which we didn’t try to use. Also an air purifier. Really loved the location as it was near three metro lines - really easy to get around Seoul! And plenty of eateries within a short walk too. However, marred by the fact that the shower cubicle drainage was really terrible- flooding occurred on a daily basis but thankfully contained within the cubicle. Amazing toilet from American standard - so many functions! Feel that the standard of English among staff can be improved on as well. Cleanliness can also be improved - milk stains on table that occurred on day 2 were still present on day 6. 😶 would definitely come back for a second visit if drainage issue is solved!

One of the best hotel to stay at the heart of Seoul. Three subway stations are in 5 minutes walking distance! Good balance of business trip and family vacation with the assessable luxury lifestyle.

The staff were great, polite, and take initiative to help with my mother in law’s luggage. We had a clog in the shower and very quickly they send 3 staff including a translator to our room to fix it. My kids had a great time withthe pool and kids zone!

A great location with a kitchenette to warm up food for the kids and laundry machine. It’s a wonderful location for shopping in dongdaemun. We will definitely come back for a longer stay next time.

Convenient location with easy access to many transit options. Walkable to a variety of shopping centres and dining options. The hotel shuttle and pool were an added bonus. Would recommend to family and friends!

Amazing helpful staff/ Super clean rooms and hotel / cleaning lady from mongolia was great . Fabian and others at the lobby counter were superb. i will recommend it to family and friends . Restaurant food was great/ tea time great too. thx i did relax a lot which was my main reason to bet there .

Indoor and outdoor pool *kids can onlybuse indoor, kids playroom w video games, cafe bakery downstairs, shuttle bus to various shopping /sightseeing stops

Expedia dedicated this as a family friendly hotel, that is way off. They dont allow children under 14yrs old to enter the restaurant lounge and make you take breakfast togo boxes if you have kids as part of your free breakfast package. I emailed and Requested early check in months ahead and when we arrived it was not possible so they send us to the restaurant lounge, but the lounge did not allow my 8yrs old daughter to enter so we were left hanging out in the lobby. When finally given a room,they had 1 towel for 3 people so we had to request for more towels. The next day after cleaning the room, same thing happen, 1 towel for 3 people so we had to request towels again. They charged for an extra bed for my daughter, even though the room was a premium suit. The view was terrible, overlooking trash dumpsters and ugly surrounding. Would definitely not book with Novotel chain agian. Very disappointing.

It has a laundry machine and a small kitchen area which are essential when I’m traveling with the kids. On the other hand other room that I booked (hotel side) had a odor issue.
