Hotel Rian

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. Good for family with room having multiple beds. Hotel location is very convenient - close to subway and abundant of dining options around. Hotel can be difficult to find at first since it is deep in the local alley. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Rian is excellent for our 4 night stay in Seoul. . All the staff are exceptionally friendly and polite. The services they provided were promptly when requested . The hotel location can't be better. Conveniently very short walk to Metro station which we can go everywhere in Seoul . There are a lot of local restaurants around the hotel. . There is a CU convenient store opened 24 hours right next to the hotel . This is one of the few hotels in Seoul having multiple beds for large family (we have 3 beds - one double and 2 twin beds for a family of 4). The room is also more spacious than expected with separate shower/bath tub and toilet. . Room service is very good. New towels and amenities bottled water, shavers etc are provided plenty daily . Checked in and checked out are a breeze. Highly recommended

Stayed here for 8 nights for a family trip with my 1 year old son. It was great that the hotel provided a cot but the cot sides were too low which is very unsafe for young toddlers and we had to sleep him in between us. Otherwise we got a very spacious room. The hotel appears to have been recently face-lifted with modern fittings although appearing structurally old. Great service by the front desk staff who, although spoke limited English, had been extremely helpful in providing directions, hailing taxis and even helping us navigate certain Korean only e-shopping websites. It is rather peculiar, however, that they do not support food deliveries and explicitly tell you not to order online.

The other guests are so noisy during the mid-night and early morning. They laughed and talked so loudly and sometimes screaming. The toilets in our rooms somehow flushed itself at every midnight even though nobody was using it, it really scared me and my family members. And the air conditioner in Room 602 was so noisy so i had to switch it off when I was sleeping. However, the cleaning ladies and front desk receptionists were very kind, professional and they provided very good cleaning services.
