Our stay was nice, it was a spacious room and we even had a separate room with floor sleeping for the kids, with its own doors and everything. The lake view was stunning and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and night lights. The hotel is situated in a great area, interiors of common areas are luxurious and they had a fun virtual playroom which we enjoyed. The restaurant Viento had delicious food although the buffet was closed; disappointing but understandable due to Covid-19. My complaint is with the pool. We paid an extra $100 for the family to go to the pool, however, the outside pool area was completely shut down and drained. There aren’t that many slides or play areas inside for the kids, so $100 seems steep. I’ve been to water parks that offered way more than that for the same price. Additionally, there’s no discount for being a hotel guest. So if you pay so much for the hotel room, and the pool is not exclusive to guests (anyone can come to the hotel and use it), AND the outside pool is closed, why are you charging so much? Next time, I would pay less and go to the Gyeongju water park. Tldr: The hotel is expensive for what it provides.

Good location. Friendly staff. Family oriented destination resort for kids - pool, water park. Kids running through the halls, riding the elevators up and down. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals and eating in. The shower stall leaked or drained out and into the main bathroom, soaking the polished tile floor. The two 14"X24" towels that they provide are barely suitable for hand towels.

We enjoyed Aqua World. Nice that the outdoor pools/Jacuzzis are heated. A bit pricey even with resort discount (35% off) at $20/$24 (kids/adults). They charge for the pool towel (cannot bring towel from room) and use of chairs/tables. Concierge desk was excellent (good English skills). Access to city history tours excellent (pick up outside the hotel) - however only in Hangul. Traditional Korean room & size (Family Room consisted of one queen bed for adults and room for kids with "comforters" for floor padding). We would stay again if traveling to Gyeongju.

We stayed 2 nights there with 2 kids.they asked for extra around $CAD15 for Lakeview room, although the hotel was half empty at that time. The room was decent with a queen bed and ondol room. There were only 4 tiny tiny towels for the entire room. Bedding was kind of clean but I could not say it was of decent quality. There was kitchen with full size fridge, rice cooker, lots of dishes and utensil. The fridge was very loud in the night, loud enough to wake me in the night. There were shops, arcade and restaurant in the building kids sometimes enjoyed checking things out there. There was absolutely no Internet access in the room, free or paid, or wired or wireless. I think the whole building is not Internet ready, accept at the 1st floor lobby. I was not really happy for this. Overall a decent place with a few things for improvement.
