Hotel Moskva

I lived in Belgrade pre-Covid and the Moska was always an icon of more elegant times. Its rather grand from the outside and that impression applies inside as well. But I think it's had its day in the current form. It now feels rather old-fashioned, stuffy, overbearing, dingy, and a bit shabby. Service is great but the atmosphere is quite dark in mood and in regard to the amount of light!! The tearoom downstairs is a pleasant experience, but the permanent piano recital can become overbearing and intrusive. The whole place feels anachronistic; out of time and largely out of place. The rooms (junior suite) are massive but the room amenities are not great - furniture and fittings are ageing and the dark wood furniture has seen better days. The aircon in my room was struggling to keep the temperature below 26 C. I stayed for 3 days and that was a couple of days too long - it can feel oppressive in many ways. It really needs a shake-up and some investment to make the lost of the building and its position....

I love Hotel 🏨 Moskva it amazing Old with character in a great location Breakfast was very nice buffet with lots of choice. I have been before when visiting family in Serbia. I would recommend this hotel 🏨
