Taumeasina Island Resort

It was beautiful!!! And the staff was AMAZING!!! Shout out to Visan at the front desk! He was super helpful and just so lovely! I love his energy and welcoming smile! My family enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and the modern apartment with a washer AND dryer! This is going to be my home away from home from now on, each time I come to visit my family!

Overall a lovely resort. The grand entrance and swimming pool gave an impression of luxury, however, the service was at times average (did not seem happy to be there) and the communal areas did not feel very clean. The room was lovely (aside from a large cobweb in the lampshade housing some small eggs), very clean and all the amenities needed for a small family.

A good resort for families and first time travellers.

4 Workers really stood out John,Harry,Pesamino I think his name was and our lovely Darlene - Absolutely great customer service - they all went above and beyond for my family and I that all stayed at Taumeasina - My only complaint would be that the reception lady Renae was rude and not very friendly - the fact that she cut us off to serve people that were of a different race made us feel very uncomfortable and racially profiled - Everyone else at reception were gems - so nice and kind and very helpful with all our requests and questions- Tom the manager was great - he resolved issues within no time and his attention to detail and understanding of certain situations really was impeccable ❤️ thank you to everyone who made our experience and stay their worth while - we will miss you guys and hope to be back soon 😊

On arrival at Taumeasina we were pleasantly surprised by the warm service and greeting. The rooms are very comfortable and we enjoyed the comfortable bed, aircon and good sized bathroom… in fact we probably ended up spending a little too much time in our room due to this. The view from our room was very nice and we enjoyed great sunsets. Snorkelling off the beach was excellent and the pool areas were great for families and adults alike, though they could get a bit raucous! But the beach was generally quiet if we needed to relax. The food was good and the service was friendly. If you like a salad then we recommend the Caesar Salad with Prawns, great value. Pro tip, do not miss Karaoke Night on Mondays… great fun!

What I like the most is the customer services was great, they put their efforts to help me to me the last minutes changes of my staying. Thank you so much. You all makes me feel safe and enjoy my stay. The food were delicious. I really enjoyed my vacation. What I see need to look at it, is ordering drinks, some bartenders does not know or understand mixing the drinks, when ordering soft drinks or liquor, beer takes for ever to get it. There was only 1 waitress that I seen 2 straight nites, she busted herself tried to serve everybody. But She really did a great job and always served with a smile. Thank you Taumeasina, overall your hotel is the best on island. I highly recommended Taumeasina hotel to my family and friends for their vacation. My family will be visiting Samoa in July, 2024. My family and I had an amazing experience during our stay at the Taumeasina. We spent almost two weeks at the resort and highly would recommend to stay at Taumeasina Island Resort. All staff from Nathan as GM to the cleaners were extremely hospitable and welcoming. I would like make a special acknowledgment to Tom as he was really helpful and made our stay even better with some of the work he did for my family behind the scenes! On a personal note, I grew up in Samoa as a child and it was the first time staying at resort on the island and first time taking my family to Samoa. As a collective, we can truly say that our experience in Samoa will never be forgotten and our experience staying at Taumeasina was a key driver for that, Fa'afetai tele lava and we look forward to our next stay!

This is a very nice island resort that my family and I enjoyed. Friendly staff and great food from the Hotel restaurants. It will be great to have a convenient store onsite for basic needs.

Rooms and beds are too small, not recommended for people traveling with children unless you’re prepared to pay for an extra room.
