It was an amazing experience. Kelly and Penny were really friendly and hospitable. The hotel was modest, but it was exactly what we needed. The rooms was comfortable and equipped. The hotel has a beautiful view. Great family time.

Our family loved our stay a Sea Gate Hotel. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. Kelly and Penny were so supportive, kind and friendly. Which really seals the beautiful energy this property radiates. We highly recommend Sea Gate Hotel!

From the booking to the checkout, the owners made you feel welcome and comfortable. They took the time to know your name. Their property and the view is absolutely beautiful. It is worth the trek up the short hill ( get a car or golf cart). Our family enjoyed the cottage and we felt like we had a little home away from home. This island was beautiful and we so enjoyed the opportunity to be their guests.

We absolutely LOVED out stay at the Sea Gate Hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and it was so pleasant! The grounds of this family founded and operated boutique hotel are full of beautiful gardens and a nice little dipping pool and a sun deck. There are roosters near the horses nearby. (roosters are everywhere in PR) We used a white noise app on our phones and were fine. :) Our space was so comfortable, we really liked chatting with the ladies running the place. We rented a golf cart, parking was super easy in front of the hotel, and explored the island before seeing bioluminescence. I literally can't say enough positive about our stay here!!! We'll look to book here again when we come back to the island in the future!
Thank you both so much!!! :)

This place is lovely! A little slice of heaven on the hills of Vieques. It’s nothing fancy, but you do feel part of the family and feeding the horses in the morning was a bonus! My kids loved it.

Sea Gate is super cute. Classic ‘70s style, beautiful views, interesting little architectural/design details all around (e.g., sea shells set into the concrete walls of the shower). In fact, it’s run by the granddaughter and an aunt of the family who built it (in 1977, I think they said). The rooms are somewhat tightly spaced but very comfortable and inviting. We would absolutely stay there again and wish we could have stayed longer this time. Oh yeah, it’s also has a small horse farm on site because they run horse riding tours.

My family of 10 loved our stay at Seagate. The rooms were clean and comfortable and exceeded expectations! Rooms were even nicer than the pictures! The owners did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We came on the early ferry and they held our luggage for us, while we were at the beach for the day. They also let us use the beach towels from when we arrived until when we departed. We were even able to rinse and change in the bath house before leaving on the evening ferry. Good recommendations on testaurants and top snorkeling locations.

My stay at seagate was nothing short of a nostalgic journey that transported me back twenty years, reminiscent of the warmth and comfort of my childhood home. Tucked away in [Location], this hidden gem offered more than just a place to stay; it was a nostalgic embrace, evoking memories of a simpler time.
What truly elevated this trip was the exceptional service provided by the host and the island's residents. Their warmth and genuine hospitality went beyond the ordinary, making me feel like a cherished guest rather than a mere visitor. They effortlessly brought back memories of a time when kindness and helpfulness were second nature.
