Hotel Da Rocha

Stayed for 3 nights with my 2 kids and all of us LOVED the hotel. The room is super spacious with the kids each having their own bed. The free breakfast buffet was one of the best included breakfast I've had. The selection was phenomenal and taste was great. It was so good that we went to their dinner buffet (€28/adult, half for kids, and they didn't charge for my 8yo son). Again the food was great, nice selection and we went back for a second time as their menu changes everyday. Location was fantastic, only minutes walk to everything, even a pharmacy if you need anything. The pool was clean with plenty of lounge chairs and even sunbeds and equipped with a pool bar. Loved that you can borrow beach towels with a €10 deposit. Amazing stay, would definitely recommend.

Plus:the location, shower and hot water kettle. This hotel did not provide coffee or washcloths (wash clothes are not provided in several Portugal & Spain hotels), although there are several cafe’s in the area If you like quiet family friendly hotels, this is not the place for you unless your room is located on a higher floor than the first two floors, we were on the first floor. This hotel is located in a big party area with a huge nightlife!

The Hotel Rocha was much better than I expected. The room was nice. Breakfast was very good. But the location to the beach and the restaurants was incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Proximity to the beach was great and the best morning breakfast buffet our family has ever experienced!

Good hotel at a convenient location within walking distance from the Praia Da Rocha beach, ocean-view restaurants and shopping. It is also a 17-minute walk to the marina if you do a tour to the caves. The family room was clean and spacious for our 2 kids. Friendly staff who saved our luggage given our early arrival before the checkin time. The breakfast buffet was good too with plenty of options to adults and kids.

Great location walkable to the beach; very big, spacious quadruple room to accommodate my family of 4 adults, very good breakfast buffet and parking included in the hotel daily price. I highly recommend this Hotel Da Rocha in Portimao.

Had a lovely stay. Good size room with a huge bed. Room was cleaned daily. Sea view was awesome. Kitchenette ways very handy. We were half board but evening meals were repetitive, next time we wouldn't bother. Plenty of great restaurants at hand. Swimming is small, spent there one afternoon only as it was occupied by one big family making impossible for others to enjoy. Overall a nice hotel. Would recommend.

Great rooms, with crib for our child. Pool was lovely with shaded area to keep out the heat when needed
