This is a fantastic place to stay for a holiday in Sao Miguel! The staff were extremely helpful (especially Vasco when we first arrived), our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and the location is ideal for walking around Punta Delgada (a short walk to the waterfront, botanic gardens, and several highly recommended restaurants). Some of the other larger hotels in the city seemed to lack personality, the Talisman feels like a family-run hotel. We look forward to returning!
