First class hotel in the very heart of town. The breakfast selection and quality is beyond compare. Great value, super friendly stay for family or business folk.

Facilities within the hotel were good. We chose a room with a mountain view and that was what we got with a good view of the city as well. Negative aspect, we were a group of 3 adults sharing using a family room. There were only cups and coffee making facilities for 2. Not what you would expect when you have booked for 4. We would certainly use the Scandic Group again.

Booking through Hotels.com often gives us rooms that are less desirable and cannot be changed. Like rooms by a busy area, by an elevator, on floors with dozens on rowdy kids on away games the rooms are often small too. The places themselves are good and the beds are fine etc. The location is typically the issue. The hotel often won’t exchange the room either. This hotel was great though just bad location. Twice.

We celebrated our Valentines Day here in the heart of Bergen. It was a pleasant day and no rain after all. They served sumptous breakfast buffet and big breakfast hall to accommodate more guest which so convenient to dine-in if you have a kids or big family. Maybe improve more the front office like the receptionist ladies, when I checked-in, not that accommodating and welcomy. But when I checked out, the gentleman receptionist was friendly enough, asked me how's our stay. Great experience, great location and great escape.

Good breakfast buffet and great area. Costs money to use pool and if you have kids have to use before 10 AM.
