Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Oslo

The staff at check in and meals were wonderful. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping never supplied fresh rolls of toilet paper, we were on the last few sheets when we went to check out. Housekeeping also left obvious trash that we had set with the bins(empty pizza box). They left dirty dishes, but added more so there were like 10 glasses in the room when we left. The pool was nice and clean and my two kids loved it. Overall nice stay and worked great for our family trip.

No access to pool with a kid. Upgrade to executive room due to gold-status didnt include access to executive lounge.

Booked a queen bed room, was given a twin room. Asked to change no problem until I got there, I was given someone else's room with all their stuff in it!. Went back got rewarded an upgrade to a junior suite, thought great. Got to the new room, dirty towel and dirty glass in the sink, generally the room was old and tatty and it was right next to the top floor bar ...so loud music until 1am. Overall, based on seeing 3 rooms, they were all disappointingly old and tatty. The staff are however pleasant, polite and willing to help.

I was very disappointed. I booked two rooms for visiting family from the US. I had a problem getting through when calling ahead of stay so I sent an email with arrival information. Booking from 7/25 but guest arriving early 7/26. I was worried that no show on 7/25 would cancel booking. I received an email confirming their arrival early morning 7/26. Flight was delayed and they arrived at 5am to find one room not ready nor cleaned. They waited 1 hour for their room . As we had requested rooms next to each other or same floor, we very diss appointed that rooms were on different floor. They told us we could change one room next day. Returned at 6 pm to find new room not cleaned or ready as well as first room not cleaned but items from other guests placed in room?? How is this possible. Requested and extra pillow and were told only one pillow per guest. Asked for a new towel and was told no. Pretty bad when you spend over $2000 for stay.

Nice location. Good for family staycation specially with kids.

Nice enough hotel but nothing stellar. Staff were pleasant and helpful but checking in and other tasks in reception seemed to take forever. Ground floor area looks pretty swanky but the rooms are a bit tired. To call our family room “Deluxe” was a stretch. Good location right next to the palace and national theatre station. Oslo is great.
