Room was two small . Bathroom was really small and no Facilities. Cleaning was not done properly, never changed bed sheets or pillows cover. Floor was not cleaned and kept dirty. Never changed used glasses and only provided plastic cups once. Not a good place to stay with family

Our family of four had a nice stay. The beds were comfortable, the bunk beds were terrific for our kids, the location was walkable to virtually everything we wanted to do in Oslo and restaurants, and the breakfast was fabulous!

We had a family room with four single beds. Perfect for our family of 4 with two teenagers. The hotel had a great breakfast included. The location was perfect. Tons of restaurants in the area.

The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Their breakfast buffet was amazing (get the pancakes). We had a 4-bed family room and it was a great space. It felt huge compared to some of the other hotels we'd looked into. My only recommendation is that if you have room, pack a small personal fan of some sort. There is no air conditioning and a western facing room gets stuffy even with the windows open. It's an easy 15-20 minute walk up from the Oslo Central Station and there is easy access to a taxi stand, buses, or trams. The Grünerløkka neighborhood is right around the corner, filled with restaurants, shops, and nice park. If we ever make it back to Oslo, we'll be looking first at Anker Hotel for our stay.

The Hotel is relatively expensive if one thinks about its quality. It’s well-located but one meets drug users and dealers in the neighbourhood so I wouldn’t recommend it to families. The staff was ignorant and I had a feeling they just didn’t care about the visitors. The breakfast had a typical Nordic selection of various food options but it wasn’t tasty. At least from my experience, the hotel breakfasts consist of high quality products in Norway, so this was an unpleasant surprise. One morning, fruit salad was stale or at least, it tasted as if it was, and I just had to stop my breakfast since I couldn’t eat anything after that.
