My family stayed in Golden Hotel for 7 nights. Really nice place to call home away from home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The suite we stayed in is clean and well-equipped. The staff are quick in responding to our request, always greeting us with smiles. The Cafe serves delicious food of very high standard. Hotel is within walking distance to eateries, banks and shopping mall. Public buses from hotel front are convenient for those who are not driving.

Really well presented hotel. Was offered upgrade on arrival to family suite and found us in a luxurious room which was very modern. 2 queen beds, kitchenette l, beautiful rain shower and Netflix included to boot. Would love to come back and stay here for more than one night.

Awesome hotel to stay. Nice and clean, excellent service! We arrived late with child, and got upgraded to a two bedroom suit with late check out the next morning! 10/10! Will definitely come back again when we are in CHC next.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. Sparkling clean and very accessible to almost everything you need in the city. We also appreciate that they give free upgrade to travelling family if they have available suitable for a family. Thank you and we will definitely book again when we will be in Christchurch. :) -Ang family

We enjoyed our stay at Golden Hotel. The bed is nice and firm. They have separate room for kids if needed. They have a small kitchenette and Netflix. The cafe at the hotel have delicious food. Even though parking is limited, we can also park on the street for free.
