Amadi Panorama Hotel

Attentive staff who supported us with our newborn baby. Spacious room with inclusive drinks; coffee, tea, beer, and soda. The wet room was very slippery and took ages to drain the water. Similar situation with the sink. Both took at least 15 minutes to drain, sometimes longer.

Lovely hotel with an easy 20min travel time into the centre of Amsterdam (x1 tram journey). Staff were always smiling, approachable and more than happy to help whatever your question may be; even had a joke or two with them which was nice. The hotel itself has a modern feel to it and care and attention is taken to guests needs; the only downfall was the carpets - along the corridors they appeared dis-coloured and upon entering our room the carpet was stained with an array of what appeared to be vomit/spilled drinks - the rest of the room was spotless and we can not fault the house keeping team’s efforts. We spent a couple of our evenings with a few drinks & tapas style nibbles (purchased at the local supermarket a 2minute walk from the hotel) admiring the picturesque view from our hotel window which after a busy/hectic day spent in the city centre was just what we needed. The hotel currently has a building site found at the back of the hotel where it appears a residential complex is in the process of being built - we did have to refrain from having the windows open during the night due to the rather noisy clanging of the scaffolding/structures in the wind. This is not to the fault of the hotel but would be worth bearing in mind if you picked a room with a view to the water-end of the hotel whilst there is construction works. Would recommend this hotel to any friends or family and be confident in knowing it would be of a good standard.
