Everyone here was so kind. We stayed in the attic with an incredible view of the canals. The room was very small but that is to be expected in Amsterdam. We absolutely loved the area we stayed in. Super cute, walkable, safe. We traveled with our toddler and had a great time. Lots of cute restaurants nearby and had a wonderful experience.

Hotel NES and their staff were top notch! We were warmly welcomed and ushered inside out of the cold, which was especially nice after a 9 hour flight. We arrived early and only expected to be able to drop our luggage, but the staff went above and beyond and made our room available early. We reserved the family suite which was perfect for our family of 4. The breakfast was simple and delicious. We loved everything about our stay here, and will definitely be back!!

The location cannot be beat. Smack dab in the middle of all of the action. Everywhere was walkable. The breakfast was just perfect. Great bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, yogurt. Make your own Latte, espresso too. The family owned business did everything in their power to make you feel welcome. My room was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was great - historic on the outside with updated, spacious rooms. We loved the snack bar - both kids and adults. The staff is what made the property. Rick took care of us in the morning and set us up with transportation to the airport for and early flight out. Suzanne was great in the evening, friendly with our kids and helpful with tips on places to check out. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great location from which to explore beautiful Amsterdam. We stayed in the 'family suite' - which was fun for the kids. The beds were comfortable. The outside nightlife is a bit noisy. Breakfast was very nice.
