I booked Hyatt hotel Kathmandu ..Not up to their name... they gave me a room where the bed was torn from The sides and the wall near the entrance had a bubble painting which is not good for health.. it took me 1 hr to get a room .. I thought may be I booked online thats why they allocated me this kind of room.. they need serious renovation .. the Woden floor had holes where I was about to slip .. even in the room the wooden floor was so slippery .. I asked them to change the bed sheet one day as I dropped something the new bedsheet too was having dirt spots.. staffs were good.. the room central heater wasn’t working properly they said there was some technical issue which they were getting solved and got me a heater in the room which they dint On it properly .. which took time to figure out how .. internet was not working properly.. I had to leave the hotel and shift to another one as I had to extend my stay ...breakfast was good. I did mention everything in the reception when they asked me her name is ms Aarati .. Now I am in Tibet international not a huge property but worth the price .. my family had recommended it to me before but I dint listen to them and wanted a 5 star property for my comfort .. it should be value for money .. I am hyperthermia patient cannot take cold ..

We stayed 5 days with a 4 and 1 yr old; the stupa lobby is awesome and kids loved playing there, so was the property - lawns and pools. Centrally located with easy cab access and we went nearby (10 mins walk with stroller) for lunch daily - lots of restaurants near Boudha/stupa area. Buffets excellent, a la carte somewhat limited, with kids 50% off. The italian luxury restaurant was frankly lousy. We had some items like porridge and khichdi made off menu for kids - took a few iterations but they were cooperative. One issue - the rooms have no hand showers in either tub or shower, which makes it very difficult to bathe little ones. otherwise twice a day turndowns (we really made a mess) etc. made for a nice stay. Internet is expensive.
