Comfort Inn Tampico

If you are looking for a 5 star resort don't come here! If you are looking a well maintained, safe, simple and clean hotel with an excellent staff this is the place! The floors in the rooms, hallways and lobby are total tile and are clean enough to eat off of. The staff is very friendly, however, make sure you brush up on your Spanish as they speak limited English. It is, of course, Mexico. The continental breakfast has a very limited menu, but, there is a full service restaurant located in the hotel. Make sure you request a room at he back of the hotel in the main building as the hotel is located on a very busy street. The guest rooms in the main building have inside hallway doors, but, the guest rooms in the second building have outside entry doors. Very nice swimming pool in a tropical setting. There is ample parking and available taxis at the front entrance of the hotel. Guests appeared to be a mixture of families and business travelers. We paid an average of $60.00 nightly booked with Expedia. The Comfort Inn in Tampico is an excellent value for the money. t
