Hotel Santa Fe

This is one of the most beautiful little hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I will definitely be back! It’s not perfect, maybe even far from it, but the charm and the wonderful staff and the beautiful architecture make it perfect in my eyes. We did stay in the junior suite that overlooks the pool, I would specifically request the same room again. I think there are two junior sweets, one superior suite, and the rest of the rooms are similar, but we enjoyed the extra space and great view. We actually had our trip split to stay another hotel but after one night at the other place, I called and booked our last three days back at Santa Fe. We got the other junior suite to the north side of the pool and didn’t like it as much, but it was still nice. We spent our last day just hanging out in the pool anyway, and that was lovely. The restaurant is delicious and the service was wonderful.

This place is definitely 3 star hotel, they tried to make it look vantage but is extremely old. The bathroom tiles are not only old but they don't clean it well, since they assume we won't notice. I dropped an empty shampoo bottle in the shower and it stayed there for 2 days until I picked it up. The area around needs cleaning they have bird poop all over the railing to go up the stairs, Overall the outside need cleaning. The restaurant is extremly expensive for the quality of food. I recommend El Cafesito restaurant is a much better choice. They have 2 pools one for children and one for adults, but if the parents are drinking they allowed children in the adult pool, they don't care. On our last day we forgot in the bed a traveling blanket that my daughter used every night to put on the pillow since the pillow case wasn't very clean. We tried to go back to get it but the room was already occupied and they told me they would look the next day. They claimed that we didn't forget it but we know it was there and they did not returned it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you are willing to put up with the dirt.
