The room offers two separate areas (bedroom and living room), which is a nice for naps or down time as we had a child with us. Starbucks location located at bottom or ground level. Hotel front desk, bellmen and housekeeping staff is friendly. We chose the hotel since it seemed conveniently central to everything we wanted to do...Zocalo, Chapultepec Zoo/Park, Palacio de Bellas Artes. We were able to walk almost everywhere. The hours for pool are a bonus when you have kids, they can unwind or burn off energy while adults use jacuzzi. A few negatives; rooms with view as we had need maintenance (visible dust bunnies in structure), restaurant staff could or should have change for larger pesos and be a bit more friendlier or helpful to tourists.

I was only going to stay for one night and ended up 3 nights 4 days. It was a great place to have stayed. My family along with my pet Chiquise 2 kilos chihuahua were very welcomed. I cant express how HAPPY I was with everything from bellboy Aldo to receptionist males and females. Along with the pool person.

We choose this hotel because one of the people in our company is wheelchair dependent. The room had two separate areas, which was convenient as we had a child with us, and large roll in shower. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel in Mexico City is also convenient as it is somewhat the same distance from Chapultepec and Metropolitan Cathedral. We were able to walk almost everywhere. We are very happy we chose this hotel over any other ones that we stayed before.

The room was really convenient for a stay with two teenage kids. Located within walking distance of restaurants, stores and other sights of the city. The hotel has all the amenities we wanted and the breakfast buffet was good quality too.

Visited 03/11-14/10. Hotel across the street from stop #7 of open upper deck TOURIBUS get on and off bus tours with earphone discriptions. We took two of the three areas offered to visit. It took us 9:30 AM to 6 PM to complete the Red tour with transfer at #4 to the Green tour areas with 1.5 hr. lunch stop at Green line #13 Coyoacan Hitorical Center. Great lunch at Fabio's upstairs next to Burger King behind and to the left of the church where the bus stops to let you out. Restaurants also on the left as you face the park with the coyote fountain. Frida Cahlo museum at next stop #14 if you are interested. Bus stops at a lot of great points of interest so you can plan your own itineray of what to visit. Tours run 9 AM to 9 PM.
30 min. taxi ride to the Basilica of Guadalupe (not covered on tour bus. Each Sunday morning till 2 pm main thoroughfare "Passeo de la Reforma" in front of Embassy Suites is closed off for miles to traffic and opened for families to enjoy bike rides, skating, jogging, or walking without fear of the traffic. Very well supervised by local police to maintain safety. Enjoyed our stay, although air quality makes it a little difficult at times along with 10,000 foot elevation, but by 2nd day, we were getting aclimated. I believe the Hotel can help with bike rentals/helmets. Ride all the way to Chapultepec Park if you are so inclined.

The condition of the hotel was nice, but what was provided felt stingy. I had booked specifically a room with two QUEEN beds for my family of 4, and we were given a room with two DOUBLE beds, which is hard for two adults to share. Further, the room for 4 came with a total of one face towel and two body towels. Because we arrived in our room late, I did not want to call down to ask and wait for additional linens to disrupt our schedule. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were attached to the wall and their pump mechanism was broken. There were only two tiny bottles of water provided, again for a room for 4. We certainly felt the offerings of the hotel stingy.

From the beginning the staff was very helpful - they had a person ready to give us directions, where to take the Metro, how to get to the Zocalo (walking distance...15 min.) etc. The breakfast was included and it was great!!! - you could order eggs -any style. The room was excellent - we went as a family of 4 (two teenagers) and we got a suite with basically 2 bedrooms - 2 flat tv. Everybody was very happy with the rooms. Very good price for the value!! The closest Metro station is called Hidalgo - 5-7 minutes walking distance. If you are a walker, there is an arts&crafts market called 'La Ciudadela' at about 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel - you can get souvenirs of all types there at excellent prices. Again, the hotel has a person there to give directions and help you with maps. Just ask, and walk - there is a lot to see in the vecinity.

Stayed here for a family vacation with adult sibling. The staff at this hotel are excellent. Seldom hs a hotel stay been as pleasent as this one. The suite is very nice with two flat screen tvs. The breakfast buffet is excellent with large selection of fresh fruit , juices, omelet station etc. The location is great. walking distance to Zocalo etc. the subway is a few blocks away and for 20 pesos can ride anywhere on this great system. We had a great stay in Mexico City and really enjoyed this hotel.
