Blaze Hotel & Suite Vallarta

I thought the property was average at best but they did have excellent customer service - they were very friendly to my family. The facilities were average and the rooms were average at best. We were only at the hotel for a couple of hours and decided to leave for another hotel that had availability closer to the beach / malecon. The hotel didn’t meet the needs of my family but may fit the needs if yours. Either way, not a terrible experience but wouldn’t stay there in the future with a larger family like mine.

Our stay at Blaze was perfection! Our suite was large, well appointed, and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was convenient and well enjoyed by our kids, albeit a bit cold - we didn’t mind. Just a couple of blocks from the malecon and perfectly situated for a relaxing holiday. I have no doubt we will be back! Thanks Blaze hotel and staff for a wonderful week!

This is a botique hotel and walking distance to the Malecon eastside, close to the Casino. The malecon is just four blocks away. The hotel is clean. It has a small swimming pool on the ground floor. They have an elevator going to all the floors. You can see a panoramic view of the beach and portion of the city of Puerto Vallarta from the fourth floor. I was told that this is a family owned hotel and sometimes the owner stays at the penthouse on the fourth floor. They do not serve breakfast however there are a lot of restaurants int he area. The Cathedral is about three blocks away from the hotel. A block away is the main road where you can take public transport. Rooms have very basic amenities. They provide you with complimentary bottled water. The beds are comfortable. They have airconditioning system, a good hot shower, basic toiletries, wifi and a tv with english channels. They don't have a safe for your valuable. The staff are very welcoming especially Rene who is assigned at the front desk in the morning. The cleaning lady, Esperanza is also very hospitable, so is the guy that is assigned at the front desk in the evening ( I forgot his name ). The area is very quiet and safe. This is one of the most convenient hotel that I have found in Downtown Old Vallarta and I will surely go back there again.
