Hotel Catedral

This hotel is very close to the malecón and other sight seeing areas. We loved our stay here. Very kid friendly. The food for breakfast was very GOOD. The views from the room were “OK” nothing special but overall very clean, nice and convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved staying at Hotel Cathedral with my family. Staff was super nice. Free breakfast in the mornings. Hotel is walkable to malecon, restaurants, plaza, church, and shops. Only a 10 minute drive to Playa Corumel and about 30 minutes to Balandra which is a must. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

our family has stayed here 3 times. Great location,staff is excellent. Lacking this time on common sense stuff such as enough towels in the bathroom upon arrival, replacing the shampoo each day and the towels after cleaning the room. Also, beware the mini fridges are turned off so we lost some food we brought home from dinner one night. Overall though great place.

My mother, toddler and I spent one night in this beautiful hotel in April 2024. Wow! What a beautiful hotel. The room was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the property was well maintained. The courtyard for dining is so pretty and the breakfast buffet options were awesome! Lots of different food items to choose from. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. What a memorable stay. The front staff speak good English, and we’re happy to provide a map with directions to a fantastic restaurant within walking distance. Even the cleaning lady in the lobby and maintenance man were smiling and friendly. People say Canadians are friendly, but we’ve got nothing on Mexicans! Stay here. It’s awesome

We really enjoyed our stay here for our family vacation. The hotel is beautiful, clean and walkable to the malecón (beach boardwalk) and numerous restaurants. The rooftop pool and bar have a beautiful view of the cathedral next door, the plaza and you get a glimpse of the ocean.

Staff was not very friendly. Not a child friendly property either. Overall not a good experience for my family and me.

As always, a great and relaxing stay at the Hotel. This is my fourth time staying. Always recommend to family and friends. Walking distance to the Malecon, restuarants nearby and even a Farmacy across the street if needed during the trip.

This Hotel was perfect for my family and I on our first visit to La Paz. The location is great, nice area just across from the Cathedral and town square and 3 blocks from the Malecon and its marinas, and lined with numerous restaurants, all in walking distance. The area is safe and clean. The hotel was very reasonably priced, well maintained, and included a nice free breakfast and parking. Our room was very clean with 2 very comfortable beds, good bathroom and great shower and amenities. Rooftop bar and pool, while small, fit the bill for chilling out and great views of the surrounding area. The staff was great and very accommodating, Paul at the front desk in particular. Would definitely stay here again! Nothing negative to say.

Everything was fine with the hotel and the stay, until the check out process where me and my family had to wait for one hour to resolve an issue with two missing towels... unbelievable that they ask for an "open" voucher to charge you for something that they lost. After one hour waiting, the manager never showed and sent his assistant. Finally the issue was resolved but all the experience was very frustrating.
