The Cumberland Hotel by NEU Collective

Center location with cafes, shops and views of the bay right outside the door. Easy walk to all major attractions in town. Hotel staff are very friendly, especially manager Cole who gave us many good restaurant recommendations. Our junior suite is well appointed and very quiet. The hotel has a very good restaurant too and portions are ample. Breakfast comes with many tasty choices but service pace is a bit slow. If you are in a hurry in the morning,stick with simple baking goods.

New refurbishment, feel of luxury, exceptionally clean, breakfast ample and cooked to order. We visited as a family but we were also visiting for business. Good sound insulation too. Staff helpful.

The location is exceptional. Walking distance to most of Valletta’s sights. The Junior suite was spacious, amazing high ceiling an attractive small enclosed balcony to watch the world go by. The room was beautifully appointed, the mezzanine provided a perfect space for the sofa bed for our children and still felt private. The basement dining room was quirky and the included breakfast extensive and welcome. Masks were worn in all communal areas and there were plenty of sanitizing stations but it never felt oppressive or detract from the overall experience. The rooftop terrace was small but a welcome escape from the streets, the jacuzzi was a great addition! Although there is not a bar on the terrace you can order drinks and they are brought up for you. All staff were welcoming and friendly. If we come back to Valletta we would definitely stay here again.
