Palais Le Brun

My wife, toddler and I stayed at Palais Le Brun for just over a week. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast is included and I thought was quite good. I liked being able to order one hot meal and have access to the buffet as well. The staff were accommodating with breakfast and offered us alternative options as our toddler has an egg allergy. The area around the hotel is quite quiet. It was a bit difficult using our stroller on the streets in Valetta but that's really not an issue the hotel can rectify (city issue). There are a lot of restaurants nearby and the hotel is in the heart of Valetta so it makes site seeing a lot easier. There is a small pool on the roof of the hotel, which was fun to swim in with the family. There is also a rooftop bar and gym downstairs. I would have liked to have had access to heavier weights but it did the job for me. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing staff, who were all very friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Good responses to a couple of emails before our trip. They provided a nice baby cot and baby bath. The room and ensuite bathroom were spacious. The bed was gargantuan! There was very little street noise. The cooked breakfast was good and they provided vegetarian alternatives. The coffee could be improved. There was a nice view from the rooftop terrace and the pool was open (though we did not use it as it was a little too cold at the time of our trip).

Large and gorgeous spaces, lovely breakfast, super close walk to all the sites. Loved how clean the rooms were and the extra room for kids. The only thing that I would recommend is to upgrade to smart tvs. We didn’t spend much time in the room, but it would have been nice to watch a movie or something (the English channels are limited to news). It was one of our all-time favourite places to stay.

We had a booking for 2 equal rooms as family. Rooms were given in separate buildings and were different in space and interior. In one of the rooms (No 4) TV, Bathroom vent were not working from beginning. Also the wardrobe could not be opened. Every problem was reported to the reception. Wardrobe was repaired. The other issues were not solved until the end of the stay. The TV issue was inspected by staff. They said it depends on weather. We asked for another room. This was answered as not possible. Room No. 12 in other building was ok. TV was working at the same weather. The staff at the bar, restaurant and reception was pretty friendly.
