Kandima Maldives

Absolutely loved are stay here ! The workers are super friendly & fun Sade (shuttle driver) was the best !! We would recommend friends & family to this location. Will definitely be coming back

The resort is tidy, clean and well organized (activities and restoration). The island, the beach, the sea and the reef are just perfect as you wish. Kandima staff (ALL) is amazing. Always there to satisfy your request and to keep the island as it is. I really thank ALL of them for giving me and my family a wonderful experience. I just had some difficulties to contact them for the local transfer (Male to Kandima) after booking my vacation but I really recommend Kandima for your vacation. If possible, choose all inclusive, it's worth it!

By far the most engaging and friendly staff I've ever met especially the folks in the Flavour restaurant. Everyone was so kids friendly and always engaging nicely with our kids. On the other hand I think compared to other 5 star hotels we've visited, Kandima lacks the excellence especially when it comes to quality of beverages/food (and don't get me wrong the food was nice but not 5-star nice). I personally found the price for fresh coconuts ~6 USD ridiculous as this is the only thing that grows everywhere on the island. The location itself is amazing, beach is picturesque and looks amazing on Instagram as well as the perfect sandbox for babies and toddlers. If say Kandima is great but definitely not 5 star when it comes to quality and excellence.

For English users: I stayed Kandima for 6 days with my wife and 3 years old son. It was my second visit to Maldives. I chose this hotel because I stayed at Anantara Khihavah for my first visit in Maldives as a honeymoon and I wanted to stay at a more reasonable price and family friendly hotel this time. Shortly, it was very satisfactory experience. All the staffs were so kind (especially Midty?, the receptionist at Flavour and Zest, who enjoys watching Netflix as her hobby. Facilities were newly built and well maintained. Pools were spacious. There were numerous events for family guests. I can definitely say it's one of the best hotels in Maldives for travelers with kids (Especially considering price). The only problem was there is no air-conditioning system in restaurants. (I don't understand why it has powerful air-conditioner in restrooms and no air-conditioner in restaurants.) Except that, there is nothing to complaint about. Great stay with the family. Our kids only wanted to go back to the Kids Club, many thanks to Iva and Muncy who looked after them. Lots of wildlife on the island, with chameleons, bats, and even sharks swimming next to our room. Just beware of the winds! We left our clothes outside to dry and they were swept into the ocean.

The venue is Paradise we do a lot of travelling and have stayed in fabulous places around the world including Bahamas Seychelles Mauritius maldives barbados and Fiji but Kandima was the best for both my husband and myself. The staff and head chef at Flavors restaurand went out of their way to ensure I was ok and to prepare special meals for my vegetarian husband who does not eat meat fish eggs or mushrooms. Downside to hire a jet ski would set you back almost £200 FOR 1/2 half hour. Housekeeping could be improved i.e bins not being emptied in room toiletries and toilet rolls not replenished without asking a couple of days. But I would still recommend Kandima to my friends and family and would have no problems in going back one day. great beach truly secluded when we were there and lovely calm blue water we had the beach and sea to oursellves for 5 of our 7 days there... heaven. TRULY PARADISE IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD well worth the money and long journey to get there from London UK.
