HOTEL MYSTAYS Fuji Onsen Resort

Useful location if one has families and wants to visit the Fujikyo-Highlands theme park . Hotel can do better by giving customers locations of restaurants and cafes within walking distance from the hotel

As I didn’t rent a car, the hotel is a bit far from the highway expression bus stop. And there are no proper side road to walk on and it is dangerous for me to go with a kid alone with heavy backpacks. Once settled, the hotel is around 6-8 min walk to the restaurants and the Fuji Q park. Not much food available after 8pm as well, so bring some snacks in case you or the kids feel hungry later the night. Even though the public bath tub is under construction, the arrangement between women and men schedule works well.

Awesome hotel with good breakfast (dinner was not as good as breakfast). Very kids friendly, highly recommend

This is a hotel catered to big tour groups. We encountered many such guests with terrible manners. One lady was taking photographs with her handphone inside the onsen bath and changing room. Another family (grandmother, mother and granddaughter) jumped into the onsen without showering. What was really disgusting was the grandmother started splashing water at her body while squatting on the steps of the onsen. During dinner, some old ladies will push and shove at the buffet line. Also, the location is inconvenient for travellers who don’t drive. The bus stops were also confusing and not clearly demarcated. I’m surprised this place had a good review on the platform. The staff however made up for the shortcomings of the hotel through their polite and professional service.
