APA Hotel Tokyo Shiomi Ekimae

Coming from the US, we can't do an apples to apples comparison regarding room size in general, but the room size at APA Shiomi was pretty decent. The location is fantastic, about a 5 minute walk from the Shiomi JR station. The train to Tokyo station is 4 stops and about 12 minutes... can't complain about that! There is an awesome grocery store adjacent from the station that has a huge selection of packaged dinners with such reasonable pricing. A Lawson convenience store is next to the front door too for your snacks and drink needs. Hotel lobby/facilities and Room is modern, carpeted and comfortable, service is excellent and facilities are great including inexpensive laundry machines (3 of each, no waiting). Microwave ovens are available on several floors too. My family had our best sleep here compared to all other hotels we stayed at during our Japan trip. They have a breakfast buffet for $15 which we didn't participate in, and my suggestion is to make that breakfast less fancy and offer it free of charge with the room. Nevertheless, it was a really good stay and I will go back if I get the chance.
