Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande

Liked - nice buffet breakfast. Some change in breakfast menu after 3/4 days would be nice. Illy coffee pod in room is great. Hotel has policy of cleaning staff coming in every 3 days or more to clean or re supply. I prefer being left alone for a bit longer - a week maybe. It’s a privacy thing. I suggest you order a Uber ride instead of asking for a taxi through the front desk-especially if you need a larger vehicle like a van for say a family of 4 plus.

Very poor cleanliness- bitten by bed bugs resulting in very itchy bites on my body esp legs. Fridge inside room was malfunctioning, there was smelly stench, fridge was not cold. Requested for a replacement of fridge since it was giving away weird smell, but there was no action done at all, despite repeated prompting at the reception. Service of the reception front looked good but they did not actually help to solve the problem even after reminding them about the spoilt fridge for two days. Mineral water is provided only if you do not require room service, wow what a tactic. Room card does not allow you to tap to the levels other than your own room floor. Very inconvenient when you are staying with famiky members at different levels. Wifi is only accessible within the room. So when i left the room, I am unable to contact family member. This cause inconvenience when i wanted to make sure my old parents know where to meet me, that is only level 1 or 2 allowed since the card does not allow me to tap to my parent's room level to help them with luggages or other matters. Overall, a very stingy and poorly maintained hotel even though it looked relatively new.
