Ishigaki Seaside Hotel

We stayed in the cottages, they were simple Polynesian style bungalow perfect for our family. We had two as we were a group of six. The beach is fabulous and the location is peaceful. The pool is also great. Things to note. You really need a car as this spot on the island is not within walking distance of very much. Also note the restaurant is buffet only. We opted for local restaurants, which were fabulous. There is a great little convenience store on site plus a surf style gift store. We loved our week here, the island has so much to explore. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel for exploring the area, especially Kabira Bay (tour boat) and Yonehara Beach (snorkeling). The beach in front of the hotel is best for young children. Also note that Okinawa has extreme low and high tides, so you really can't swim or snorkel at low tide in most beaches.

Hotel location was secluded and on a great beach. Great place for families. Buffet breakfast was great - Japanese and Western options- do something for everyone.
