Vessel Hotel Campana Kyoto Gojo

Hotel has standard size room, good for 2 adults maybe 1 kid, but cramped for family of 4. Breakfast is great with very good selections of Japanese and western food. Japanese bath is a plus, a great relax of body after long walks around the city.

We (family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 teenagers) loved the Vessel Hotel Campana Kyoto Gojo. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The hotel is in a great location - we could walk to many of the key sites we wanted to see in Kyoto from there. The breakfast was quite good. One of the best things about the hotel is the public baths. It was amazing to be able to come back after walking all day and going to the lovely bath and soaking away our aches and pains. Another great and unique aspect of the hotel is that they open the dining room in the afternoon, and any guests can come in and have free drinks (soft drinks, coffee, and tea). Every day we came back, sat and had something to drink and planned our next day's excursions. One thing I will say is that the rooms are small - but that is typical of much of Japan.
