Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo

Me and my family stayed here and we will definitely stay in this hotel again.

It’s a convenient hotel for family, good access to transport and dining area.

Nice hotel and clean also excellent breakfast. Ideal for traveller also family with children.

Our family stayed at Mitsui Gardens over four nights in March. The first few nights were, for the most part, fine. The hotel is clean, in a very good location, and the staff are friendly and easy to communication with. Unfortunately on our last night the age of the hotel became apparent. You can not blame the hotel or its staff for the guests that stay, but you can fault the hotel infrastructure, in particular the very thin walls. We had a number of rooms on our floor with loud groups. And every spontaneous laugh, shout, group outburst, banging of walls or shaking of doors to see if they were locked or not, echoed throughout the floor of the hotel. I was awoken from sleep a number of times during the night as I thought some of the commotion was occurring directly in our room – it was that loud. After a long day of visiting the stunning sites in Kyoto you want to be able to go back to your hotel and have a good nights rest to recharge for the next day. There are many hotels in Kyoto, I'm sure you'll be able to find another that provides a better night of rest.
