Hotel was in a great location but room was very small. We had 2 adults and two children in a double room. Not good

My family and I enjoyed our stay thanks to the wonderful staff at Richmond Hotel Narita, especially Osaki-san who went above and beyond to help all my daily inquiries including shipping a package. I cannot show enough gratitude and gratefulness. She definitely deserves employee of the month.

We spent just one night here after arriving at Narita airport in the late afternoon. My children were exhausted from the day of travel and I thought it would be best to spend the first night close to the airport. It was a 10 minute train ride and quick 5 minute walk to the hotel, so proximity was great. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet, even though it faced the street. I would definitely stay again.

Beds are very small. we were family of 4 (2 adults, 1 12yo, 1 7yo). We booked a "deluxe double". I had requested a king bed, which I assumed meant 1 king bed and a pullout sleeper. Instead, the room only had a king bed, which was meant to sleep all 4 of us. Then on requesting a room with 2 beds, we were changed to a room with 2 "double" beds which were more like 2 twin sized beds. Still had a hard time fitting all 4 of us. I guess just take into account when reserving your room(s) that everything is smaller. The only room with 2 beds available was a smoking room, which unfortunately did smell of smoke, but that's not the hotel's fault since we requested a very last-minute change. The staff was very courteous and responsive, and the room was very clean.

The room and amenities were clean and nice. The staff were understanding and accommodating which was helpful especially since I was traveling with children by myself. The parking situation and hotel bus situation was a little confusing, I don't think they had any... which I later regretted.

Stayed in a large family room and bathroom was large. Close to Narita train station. Many restaurants and convenient shops close by. Will stay here again.

Overall we just spent a night. But getting to the hotel late night can be a nightmare especially if taking the train. The escalators had stopped for the day and with two kids, a stroller, 3 big suitcases it was a terrible start to out Japan trip. Thankfully we got help from an Indian guy who really helped and guided us.
