Hotel Rialto

This was a mini honeymoon break in a so called luxury hotel in prime location in Venice. I booked the honeymoon suite, the most expensive room in the hotel. I emailed ahead to tell them the stay was a honeymoon. I expected chocolates or a bottle of wine in the room but the hotels way to celebrate us spending our honeymoon with them was to shape a towel into a heart shape on the bed. The reception staff were all sullen and at times rude. The check in welcome was cold and unfriendly. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. We ate at the hotel on our first night. Really poor pasta and lasagne that we sent back to the kitchen as it was cold in the middle. I would not go back to this hotel and would never recommend it to friends or family. Apart from the location, I have nothing positive to say

We loved the Hotel Rialto, and would return there without hesitation. We would also strongly recommend the hotel to family and friends.

This hotel was lovely and close to everything, right next to Rialto bridge. The deluxe junior suite was lovely and had everything we needed. The terrace overlooking the grand canal was a real bonus and somewhere to sit. Cost of drinks in the restaurant were expensive 8 euro for water and 16 euros for a large beer! The only down side was breakfast it was basic/fine but the waitress was rude and unhelpful.blonde haired waitress was nice but the young waitress who was there each morning inside dark hair and glasses was not happy in her work.
