Beautiful hotel for a summer stay in Venice - a haven from the heat and crowds - loved the pool as there were plenty of sunloungers and you could find a quiet spot on the lawns if there were noisy children swimming. Service at the pool restaurant was quite slow and food over-priced but good quality. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and nice to sit outside in the courtyard if desired. Drinks service could be better but staff nice and friendly. Complimentary shuttle boat to Venice runs every 40 minutes starting at 9am - would be better starting earlier and running at least every 30 mins as long wait if you just miss it!

It was a lovely hotel. We would highly recommend to anyone. Very elegant. And it's wonderful to have a view of Venice but be away from the crowds. We have two kids and they really enjoyed the pool as well.
