voco Venice Mestre - The Quid, an IHG Hotel

Modern hotel, great rooms for families and only 15mins on train from Venice.

I slept like a baby. The hotel was clean, staff were great. Food was nice!

Great overnight stay with my family, close to airport with nice food.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

First of all it is new, and it IS new. Everything looks fine but when you settle down, you could find things that are not right. We are travelling with kids for summer, when we prepare them to sleep, some funny noise of love sports coming from neighbours, don don don, kids asking what's the sound.... When everybody slept down, it came with another driping sound going all nights. And the most interesting part is, as hotel.com rewards, there's 10 euro credit of drinks, but when I asked about the menu, the basic service fee is 10 euro plus the drink you order. Staff are not trained well enough either. My boy broke a glass in the shower area, we told the housekeeper, but when we came back, i got hurt by glass shed on room floor... Also, when we asked for a hot water for tea in restaurant, we were told to find it ourselves... Overall, I don't think it needs a complaint, but I paid higher rate than other websites as for the gold member privileges, but this is what you could get.
