Hotel Valle di Assisi Spa & Golf

Great large hotel with large clean rooms. Location is amazing !! Recommend to book with spa included (just need to check the hours when kids are allowed). Grounds are beautiful Reception staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing for such a large facility. It was very basic and small.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff in the reception desk were always so polite and helpful. So much for young children to do including and outdoor park (bit out dated but still brilliant!) An out door walk in pool, which is perfect for the younger children to splash in. An indoor play area, as well as large grounds to play around in, you can also use their onsite bikes to take around the grounds for no charge. They also provide footballs, kids golf and archary. The breakfast was stunning, and a great selection of food available. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. The restaurant food was beautiful, espeixally the sausage ragu, but it was pricy. Only issue was, make sure you book in the evening, as twice we were told it was full, even though we were guests. The hotel is a 15min drive into Assisi. We'll definitely be staying again. The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. The hotel was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We were staying with our 2 young children in a double room. The lounge area was equipped with a double sofa bed and a cot with enough room to still walk around. The bedroom had a huge bed, a little on the firm side for me. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the service was impeccable. Friendly staff happy to even open a bit earlier for our little ones. The food was delicious and generous in portion size. The breakfast was amazing too. Couldn't fault it. While we were there the hotel appeared to be undergoing an extension but no work was carried out whilst we were there. The pool was great. We did use the spa, only for the kids pool which was a bit of a rip off at €20 each. The flooring in there was really slippy, I wasn't that impressed. The spa itself looked lovely. There wasn't any activities going on for children which I seemed to remember reading on the website. The staff at reception didn't know much about that and simply told us to look in the brochure in the room. The brochure didn't give any info on this. None the less, we had a lovely stay and I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
