First time visiting Florence and overall the amenities of this hotel were a huge disappointment. The pool is about the size of two king beds, the biggest section is maybe 18” deep, with jets. Two sides of the pool are deep but only about a bodies width wide. Not at all what I was expecting, when I planned on an actual hot tub, the water isn’t even warm. (The pool/hot tub was the main reason we chose this place). The room is decent, however the bed was extra firm and flat. Biggest disappointment in the room was the jacuzzi tub/shower combo. The tub is sectioned into two parts for the shower and if you’re a bigger person, you would be hard pressed to be able to even turn around and/or bend over. Since the pool was a disappointment, I decided to take advantage of the in-room jacuzzi tub. Guess what, the controller is broken so it won’t turn on and I can’t even take a regular bath, because the drain doesn’t seal. We definitely won’t stay here again, especially when there are so many other hotels with the amenities that we were looking for, in the same price range. I’d also like to add, the bedroom is located the furthest point from the door and we can still hear people talking and kids screaming in the hallway and other rooms. Very disappointed!

This was unequivocally the worst value for money hotel we’ve ever stayed in; please do not be fooled by the cute pictures of the restaurant with terrace (it has a sad cafeteria vibe in person), the shabby chic sitting room (it is all shabby, no chic) or the four star rating (unfathomable). There were a number of American tour groups; I feel terrible they think this is what a quality Italian/European hotel is when it is literally the farthest from that. It is poorly maintained and even the most basic of ‘amenities’ (working aircon, towels that weren’t threadbare) were in no way present. Add the sleazy vibe (lots of cheap velour, colour changing lights in the bathroom, ambiguous stains and cracks everywhere) and questionable commitment to cleanliness (someone else’s food was left in our mini-fridge) and our weekend was absolutely ruined by not feeling we had a safe, clean place to stay. We did raise the aircon issue (we have a toddler, it was a disaster) with the hotel - and were told we could move to a ‘superior room’ which (after two false starts in an unsuitable shower room and someone else’s room that they were actively staying in) were put in the same type of room we had booked in the first place. This was after the staff yelled at me for not telling them sooner but before the manager insisted the aircon wasn’t broken but only needed ‘some time to warm up’ - like two days is not time enough! A horrible place, a disappointment all around. Stay away.

A tired hotel in need of a make over..well worn carpets, dirt and dust on the floors, noisy kids and hotel maintenance staff. Our first room was so small the door hit the bed to enter. We then moved rooms for more space but the view was of an inner open hall where the cleaning staff would fill wash pails at 7 am ugh. On the good side the hotel staff were excellent and the location was close to the train station. Overall a blah hotel and there should be better in the area.

We booked two rooms for our family of four for 3 nights at this hotel. They don't have adjoining rooms but have kindly put us in rooms next to each other. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station which is very convenient for us as we travelled from Rome and to Venice and took a day trip to Pisa by train. The hotel is also close to other major attractions and amenities. We had a great stay here enjoying the comfort, the service and facilities (e.g. use if a nearby gym by my teenage son).

Fast check in, supported with parking service (they have a flat rate), we asked for the car to be ready at a certain time with no issues, room was big and comfy for our family of four.
