Beautiful hotel in a great location inside the walls of Lucca. We unloaded our car in front of the hotel with the gracious help of the staff, parking was close by and comfortable to get to. The rooms were clean, comfortable and we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs & bacon, kids had yummy pancakes and the service was amazing. We will return!

Perhaps one of the best decisions my wife and I made on our trip was staying at Palazzo Alexander. A family owned and operated hotel whose staff was friendly, accommodating, helpful, and kind. We wish we had booked a longer stay, and it is located in a very charming part of the old town of Lucca, very walkable to many restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Will for sure stay here again.

Great stay during the Lucca summer festival. My friend and I loved our "family room" - two connecting rooms, both with its own bathroom. The staff were very nice.

Wonderful family run hotel which offers the perfect location for visiting all the sites of Lucca. Greeted by the owner with a lovely warm welcome and a beautiful room. Delicious cooked breakfast in an atmosphere of opulence whilst maintaining such a homely feeling. It was truly a fantastic place to stay.

The staff at the Hotel Alexander were wonderful. We were there over Easter and the family run place was alight with Holiday goodies! It generated such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend a stay here, as it doesn't disappoint.

It was our 55th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have been happier with the hotel. Lovely family, very attentive and helpful. Air conditioning was superb _ quiet but very effective. Great city break great hotel Thankyou hotel.com

This property is a cute family, own bed and breakfast with well adorned rooms, friendly and helpful, family owners, and a lovely brunch in the morning. Anywhere in Lucca is good, but this is a Jim within the city walls.

Beautiful, centrally situated hotel with bundles of charm and character and exceptionally friendly and very helpful staff. The interior decor of the hotel could itself be a tourist attraction such is its ornate beauty and traditional features, so typical of the region. We had the junior suite "Tosca" which was lovely in its design, furnishings and lovely balcony overlooking the rooftops of Lucca. This hotel is highly recommended.
