Hotel Porto Azzurro

A very enjoyable stay! Looking forward to visiting again soon! Hotel is situated in perfect location - lovely restaurants within a few minutes walk, close to local beach and nearby shops. Very safe area. Hotel has a lovely, clean, quiet, pool area. Sun loungers available throughout the day, not overcrowded. Mostly families and couples. Hotel rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. We stayed in new design rooms with view over Lake Garda - stunning. Perfect to watch thunderstorms over the lake in the evening! Hotel food was amazing - fresh, excellent choice and very reasonably priced. Staff very friendly - quick service and excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Complimentary cheese boards and snacks throughout the day. Shuttle bus (stop opposite hotel) arrives every 20 minutes to Sirimone (€2.50 each). Shuttle bus runs to 12.30 am. Excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is ok for a short visit. Rooms are big and clean but beds not very comfy. We had a double room which was 2 single beds pushed together, very springy and uncomfortable. Shower was tiny. Hotel rules are very strict, wouldn’t recommend as a family hotel. Pool rules very strict, no balls, inflatables and closes between 1pm - 3pm. Can only have food and drink bought from hotel, can be expensive. Good shuttle from outside hotel into centre of Sirmione. Would recommend as a short stay hotel for someone looking to visit Lake Garda, but don’t stay too many nights.

Great value for the money! The hotel was very comfortable, and the room was spacey and clean. We stayed four nights and the children loved the pool; the service was also very good and the hotel staff was able to give us tips and help us with some questions about Sirmione. The location is convenient outside of Sirmione, and we took the bus to the old town. All in all, great value for the money!
