B&B Hotel Milano City Center Duomo

My kids and I are mindful not to put our expectations on a situation, people, etc .. The property was fine. The service was indifferent. The front staff was stern and straightforward. We were not acknowledged upon entering or leaving the hotel unless we approach the front desk with a request. Though the front desk aid with requests, it felt strained. Then there was the matter of a missing wallet in our room. We left the wallet for safe keeping’s considering it was only a few currencies around 100 dollars, not a worth for stealing. I note the wallet was missing the first day of cleaning but dismissed the notion because we had a full day left and I figured it would’ve turned up. We packed and still didn’t find the wallet. We had an early train to catch, so I followed up with the desk few hours after. They inquired and said it was not found. Inquired a day after still not found. The integrity of that particular room cleaner ( room 501 April 4 -6 ) is questionable. Not sure about recommending nor returning to this hotel. Overall the front staff should work on a welcoming approach and reviewing integrity with room cleaning staff would be valuable.
