Relais Fontana di Trevi

What an amazing property. Across the street from Trevi fountain. Great room we had a junior sweet it was a great room. Saw Trevi fountain out of the window while in bed. Has a great rooftop bar , open late wonderful limoncello spritz’s, over looking the fountain. Staff is wonderful. Gabriella is the best.

You can’t beat the location. However, to say it was loud is an understatement. I think better/impact windows would help. There is a restaurant roof top bar. While this is cool, it was directly over our room. The ceiling must have been made with plywood bc you could hear every single chair move, convo etc. I wouldn’t bring babies or toddlers who need sleep. I have noise canceling headphones which saved me. Don’t forget them. But the staff, room, and location was fabulous.

Excellent location close to trevi. 20 min walk to colosseum. Not walkable to Vatican unless you like at least 40 min walks. Pantheon also 10 mins away. Reception very helpful and friendly, waiters on the terrace hit an miss sometimes friendly sometimes bit rude. €18 for two Coronas on the terrace was kind of ridiculous considering size of terrace and only 3 tables at front can actually see the trevi but it was never busy for long and a table always came up I’m presuming people didn’t stay for more than a drink because of the prices. Hotel very clean, good size standard double, strange shower bath where could easily flood floor if not careful. All in all I would recommend to friends and family to stay here.

Nice clean rooms, helpful staff. The best thing is the location just to the side of The Trevi Fountain so easy to find your way to and from the major sites. We walked everywhere - even all the way over to the Vatican but I believe there was a nearby metro station. I really loved eating breakfast on the little roof terrace overlooking some of the fountain. It advertises a roof bar so this gets busy in the evenings but no noise problems. The family room was fine for us, air con worked well to keep us comfortable.

This hotel has the best location. You open your window and you see the Fontana Di Trevi. The breakfast is included which is a plus and it’s located in the terrace with the view of the fountain. Despite the fact that it’s in front of the fountain you actually never hear the noise outside. The room are normal size. However, there’s better places. Our shower door was broken, when we asked about it they told us it was supposed to be like that. They gave us an excuse that their showers all are open with no shower doors or curtains. The shower was the size of a tile floor just very tiny. The shower was very slippery and it felt like you were going to fall and die every shower you took. We had to put many towels outside as well as inside the shower to avoid falling. We just wanted to enjoy Rome so we just let it go. At the beginning of our check in we had a problem with the number of guest we had. We had an extra child that was 11 and in our reservation we out down 4 (3 adults and 1 child). They told us that we need to get another room because the laws in Italy prevents hem from having more than 4 people in a room. Although there were 3 big beds in the room and we fit more than perfect they didn’t allow it and made us book another room the following day. We had no problem and paid for the extra room even tho we have more una enough space in the beds for all of us. We paid for the room and to our surprise the other room had shower doors and it was in perfect condition. Terrible
