Hotel Sonya

Hotel was good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful, had a small issue with our cot that they rectified immediatdly and we were accidentally over-charged for our city tax but this was also rectified immediately. Could do with modernising the rooms slightly however the beds were comfortable which is what is most important. The elevator from the ground floor was very ideal as we came with luggage, a stroller, small child and bags, other hotels don't always have this service. Good walking distance from all the main tourist attractions plus 2 small parks. Just outside of the hotel you have small but nice restaurants, an american themed bar almost next door which I wouldn't recommend eating at but the drink was nice.

Great location, clean room, and friendly staff. We stayed two nights, and really enjoyed the location. The shower door was broken, and a shower curtain was there to replace it which didn’t bother us. The room was just the right size for two adults and two small kids. The elevator was a big help for stroller. We did a big bus tour, which the first stop was a few blocks away.

worst. In the hallway of the building, an insane woman and a child were screaming and crying in the evening and at dawn, and it was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. The walls and windows are not soundproofed so you can hear a lot of noise outside.
