Hotel Tiber Fiumicino

Nice hotel with shuttle for the airport, but a lot of noise at night. Hard to sleep with young children.

Rooms lovely clean and with sky tv nice balcony. Reception staff were great ver helpful and plesent. Restaurant waiting staff came across as rude probably because we were half board. Half board menu nothing for children. Menu should really be communicated before as choice was very basic and mostly seafood based apart from burger

I traveled with my family so I understand it was a bit overwhelming to the staff who had to handle us. In addition to the language barrier, I can understand a little misunderstanding may happen. But overall, they were gracious enough to fix mistakes and accommodate our large group. The hotel is very close to restaurants and cafes. Hotel has a restaurant too but we didn't try it out. Maybe next time. The rooms had balconies so we had decent views of the ocean. My parents had view of the street below, which was also nice. The hotel offers shuttle service to the airport for 7 euros per person. Since we were coming from a cruise, there was a little misunderstanding with transportation but again, they were able to fix that. Staff was friendly and professional.

My family of 4 stood for one night, however, the room size for us was perfect. The view from the pool is amazing. Considering we stood in Italy for 2 weeks, we appreciated the options of food and alcohol the hotel provided. Definitely would stay here again!

They had good suite options for a family of 4. The breakfast was good. Very close to airport (7 minutes) made for easy travel days

If you need a stay near Rome airport, this is a great choice, especially with a family. Lots of restaurants close by. Walk to a beach to swim. My family loved it.

My family and I stayed 1 night at this hotel. We had two superior rooms since we are a family of 7. Plenty of space and bedding options. Bathrooms were decent and the showers were nice. It was a very quiet hotel. There was a lot of outdoor activities during the evening and night down along the pier but it didn’t cause us to lose any sleep. The hotel is in close proximity to a few cafes and a gelato shop. You can also walk about 15 minutes to a beautiful Sandy beach with tons of seaglass called “Azul”. We didn’t use to the pool…fyi-you are required to purchase a swim cap and a towel-no exceptions so this is why we opted for the beach. Definitely would stay here again!

The hotel is comfortable and convenient however, not such a great value when you have to get 2 rooms for a family and you have to pay extra for the taxi (the airport trip flat rate from Rome does not cover getting to the hotel) to get there and the shuttle to get to the airport. In fact, we paid even more for the shuttle because it was at 5 am (which advertised as an option) and the regular service doesn't start until 6. All together, we could have stayed at the airport in the end and it would have been less hassle.

The hotel is great there is parking underground a 5 Euros a day. The room was huge especially for a hotel in Italy which was nice with a family. The only issue we had was we walked into the restaurant which was empty at the time and I went to grab a menu and a staff member came over and asked me what I was doing. I told him I wanted to just check out the menu and then he took the paper from me and asked if I had reservations. I said no and he said well we are full. The only reason we wanted to eat there was because it was pouring out but honestly if it wasn’t for the weather there are a ton of places to eat around there. This guy was very rude and pompous. When we returned from dinner the restaurant was still empty!!
