Hotel Metropolitan

The location is excellent, walkable to the Central train terminal. The room we booked was a junior sukte with Olive Grove view, whilst the room was ok the definition of a Junior suite is used very literally, the room was sligjtly L shaped leading from front door to the bed, there was no seperate seating area instead a exposed cupboard. Difficult to view as jujior suite. The view of the olive grove was from the front door which exposed everything in the room as it was Glass windowed door so no real privacy. The only other window was onto a wall. The most annoying thing was the wash basins, it had a his and hers round shallow wash basins with the central taps which was fixed and prutruded past the centre which made washing very difficult without spraying water all around the basin and over the floor as you had to scoop the water out past the central tap to then splash your face. This sounds worse than it was, if it wasn't for the very central location making up for these factors I would probably have been aggrieved at the room being sold as a "Junior Suite"

Great location to see Bologna in one day. Very clean and comfortable for families.

Excellent location in Bologna. Stayed with family. Room with kids was excellent. Separate from the adult room. So we almost had 2 rooms

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Hotel Metropolitan. The location is great - easily walkable from the train station, close to the centre of Bologna, and off a quiet side street. Room was very clean and spacious - huge bed plus kids bunk beds, sofa, desk, table and chairs. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast - excellent service from the staff and loads of food options (especially little cakes and biscuits!). Only minor complaint is that we could have done with some crockery in the room - we only had two (very small) cups even though there were four of us, and no glasses at all - we had to go and ask downstairs at the bar if we could borrow some. Would recommend this as a great family hotel for a couple of nights stay in lovely Bologna.

Room was perfect for a family of four. Breakfast was divine - really good value for the quality and options.

I contacted the hotel in advance to arrange an airport shuttle for 4. The driver met us as we exited baggage claim with a sign. That took away much of the travel stress! (A huge que was at the taxi stand!) The room was a family room with a bunk bed. Very clean & beautiful. Not cramped! Great concierge! Checkig in & out processes were smooth. No unanticipated fees! Awesome breakfast- cappuccino, croissants, cheeses, juices- delicious. Great service. Easy walk throughout city. Nearby restaurants were delicious. Would definitely stay here again!!!

We have booked a juniorsuite. The person accompanying us to the room was very unfriendly. We arrived with 2 suitcases, to go to the suite you need to clombe several staircases. The suite is supposed to have a private sort of space on the patio. Our suite didn't had. For this price you can get better. Wouldn't choose the hotel again.

Staff was super accomodating amd friendly. The room was spacious and the bathroom was big. They also have a unique rooftop bar that is family friendly for evening drinks!
