Serra San Bruno is a small town in Calabria and the hotel is well situated in the center of it all. We happened to be there during the mushroom festival and it was a busy and thriving time. The locals were lovely and we were well received by the owner and his son. I had family in the area and ate mostly with them so I can't attest to the quality of restaurants in the area. The owner has a jewellery store in the building and gave me a discount when a purchased a few items. Just be aware of when are where you can drive and park.
