Hotel has a really bizarre layout and seemed dated generally. The pool is part of a club that others in the community use. As a result it wasn’t as resort/family friendly as we are used to. For example our 11 year old needed to wear a swim cap while in the pool and wasn’t permitted to use the hot tub. A bit disappointing as she was looking forward to using a pool. Location is great though.

The Castlecourt Hotel was a superb family friendly hotel. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and all recently modernised. The reception areas in the hotel were relaxed and comfortable and the food in May’s Bistro was excellent. Breakfast each morning was fresh and there was a fantastic range available. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We will return to the hotel in future and highly recommend it to others.

We spent 3 nights here from 17th until 20th March. Check-in was fast. Room was excellent. Food was delicious in bistro and service was great. Bar was great also. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Was a nice relaxing weekend with family.

Excellent hotel choice with a heated pool, close to downtown, excellent pub in the hotel and a comfortable quiet room. Probably the most kid friendly hotel that we have seen in Ireland. Free parking on the premises is also a bonus.
