We chose the Metropole because we found a letter from an ancestor in my husband's family, who were originally from Ireland, touting it's praises. Maybe we stayed in the same room - nice to think about but probably not. Anyway, we had a great time. The location, friendly staff, and comfort all met our expectations. We will return.

Lovely room. A little snug for 2 people but we were hardly in it. Towels were wonderful and the location was ideal. Had dinner in the and it was delicious- the cocktails were amazing! Would recommend- lots of children in the hotel as well and we NEVER heard them! The parking was a little tricky due to traffic but that was our mistake.

The Metropole was delightful. All of the staff members were exceptional. We had great service for breakfast, dinners and at the bar. They were also very accommodating of our Irish family coming to visit. We will most definitely return. The location is also great for getting to the city center. Bus stops close by as well.

From check in to check out, we absolutely LOVED our stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable and incredibly clean. The lady at the front desk, we believe her name was Aideen was incredibly friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were family. An absolute 10 out of 10 and we would stay again in a heartbeat.
