The Kana, Kuta - CHSE Certified

Friendly staffs and clean hotel, even my husband's allergy to dust doesn't come up. However, I am very disappointed about their policy not to allow their guests to refill their water bottles, but to give away 2 of 600ml plastic bottles per room instead. Do they think their guest only drink 600ml of water a day?  Unlike being at home, where I can buy a gallon of water for my family, as a traveller, I had to buy drink water from shops.  In 2 days, my family of 4 have collected 19 water bottles (2 L of water each person). 19 plastic bottles multiplies by 100 rooms in The Kana hotel for 2 days = ~1000 bottles/day plastic rubbish produced by The Kana guests just because their management doesn't allow their guests to refill their water bottle. No wonder why Kuta beach is flooded with plastic rubbish.  Ironically, The Kana Kuta Hotel put a slogan of "SAVE THE PLANET" hanging on every bathroom's door. If they TRULY BELIEVE in SAVING THE EARTH, then they should provide a water dispenser, instead of giving 2 plastic bottles per room. The Kana Kuta Hotel should consult  Aston Inn International Batu on how they help save the earth by providing water dispensers on every floor.

We needed a base near the hospital to take care of a family member who had had an accident. The Kana Kuta was a real home from home and couldn't do enough to help us. It was a relaxing base where we felt comfortable when not at the hospital, and were able to bring our patient back to. Really appreciated their attentive service and helpfulness.
