Posada Arco Iris

Great spot right on the beach! We missed the ferry due to a delayed flight and booked this hotel for one night at the last minute. Love the location in Half Moon Bay! The restaurant makes the best mojitos and the beach out front was wonderful! We stayed on a family room with our teenage daughter so we had plenty of space and was very comfortable.

Stayed in "Family Apartment, 1 Bedroom, Kitchen, Beachfront" for 4 nights for business. The property itself is beachfront but the room I was in wasn't - the patio is facing the direction of the water, that's it, so don't expect this beautiful water view. As suggested in the pictures, there are only staircases and the receptionist is not really willing to help with the luggage, so expect to bring your things up on your own. There were no guests in the room next door during the first 3 nights but in the last night there was a family with a small kid and it got really really noisy. Up to that point, I had not realized how thin the walls were - everywhere in the apartment! The neighborhood is everything I had expected - restaurants, bars, supermarket, etc.
