Listed as a 5*, should be closed indefinitely, knocked down & start again from fresh. We are a family of 5, booked this trip specifically to celebrate our Mother's 60th Birthday, as she always wanted to visit Greece. Based on the experience we had at this hotel, it's enough to put you off revisiting the country, but we're not small-minded people. Where shall we start? Maybe I'll just make a list..upon check in, the entire front desk crew ignored us in favour of some corporates checking out, so we had to ask a few times to be served. We booked 2 x guest rooms, 1 wasn't ready on time so we had to wait. We were tired & hungry, so we thought we'd eat at the hotel restaurant-what a mistake! We sat down at a table, saw the 5+ staff talking to one another (including supervisors), completely ignoring us as a table, but being attentive to others. We had to approach the desk where a woman just sits next to the till staring at you & ask for menus, the table to be set etc so we felt like we were at a restaurant. Better service at Wetherspoons, honestly & much tastier food. I ordered the turkey patties & the waitress said there'd be olives, a salad etc served with, nope- just the patties. After eating here, we all had stomach pains & ruined our holiday for a few days. Needs refurbishment but housekeeping try. Ate at the restaurant on our last day, our father (with mobility issues) had to approach the desk for us to eat & be served x 2, waited 1hr for our incomplete order & paid too much.

We were here on a family trip. We had 3 rooms with balconies & had a partial ocean view. It was in a good, safe location & we could walk to some other delicious beachfront restaurants. The hotel has a freshwater and a saltwater pool, which was nice. The hotel is across the street from the beach, but it had a private tunnel under the road to get there. There were beachfront lounges & umbrellas there. I would recommend wearing water shoes because the beach does have a lot of pebbles. The location is close to Athens, but it is more of a resort area, which is nice. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of thins & a sea view. And the rooms were very comfortable & modern. We would recommend it.

We stayed at Divani with 20 family members for our wedding in September. Despite the booking process not being entirely friendly/flexible (we opted to use expedia for a better price). The hotel was just what we needed. The bad first - we asked extremely far in advance if there was somewhere larger than our room that my partner and his groomsmen could get ready in, but they didn't really want to know. We would've paid but they wouldn't let us upgrade to suite and let us in it 2 hours early so timings didn't work. The good - everything else. The hotel is more like 4-4.5* but the food, service, drinks, pools etc are wonderful. Food and Drinks are expensive but faultless and the team at the pool restaurant can't do enough to help. The bar in the evening was enjoyable and the breakfast was superb. Plenty of options and staff always on hand to help. The bedrooms were nice but not the 'wow' you'd expect from a 5*, however nothing wrong with them and lovely views. We would definitely stay here again.

Property is beautiful. Staff not so much. Upon checking in I requested 1 full size bed for my husband and I but was given a room with 2 twins put together to make full size bed. I put in a request for transportation for my family to airport from hotel and that was not sone correctly. Unfortunately , i would most likely not staff here again. I would expect more for a diamond star facility.

The hotel staff were great from the minute we arrived, the room was clean but very small although we have booked executive room with balcony. Pool area was nice, however the beach and pool bars shut at 6.30 so if you fancy a drink in the evening, you are left with the bar inside the hotel which is far from cozy. The hotel beach is tiny and noisy as it's close to the public beach that is noisy all day long. It is very noisy at night due to youngsters partying on the public beach all through the night! Not something you'd want to hear while on holiday. The hotel is in very isolated location and there are only 2 restaurants and 1 bar walking distance. You will need to take taxi if you want to go anywhere else or hire a car, there was no public transport nearby and the nearest shop is 15 min walk!!! Not great if you want a bottle of water for the room. Over all hotel is tired and in need of a refurb. It's not a 5* hotel.

Nice resort hotel. Better for families and children than single people. Location not great for walking around to restaurants/bars etc. Great pool area but beach in front is ordinary. Staff nice and helpful.
