Athens Gate Hotel

This property was absolutely spectacular!! We stayed 3 days for our anniversary and it was beyond our expectations. We were absolutely thrilled w/ how close it was to everything Athens has to offer and the rooftop restaurant was incredible. Go for the view of the Acropolis, but go again and again for the food. Over the top menu and dishes. The staff was amazing and the rooms were great. We will definitely recommend your hotel and restaurant to all our family and friends. Thanks to everyone there for making our trip so special!!!

We will be advising friends and family to stay here. Rooftop meals with unhindered views of the Acropolis is worth the accommodation charge on its own.

Stayed as a layover prior to a cruise. Everything about the hotel is fantastic except one thing, the road noise. Our room on the front of the building and I’m very surprised at the amount of traffic that is going by at 2:00 am. My wife is a light sleeper and had no issue. I woke up and struggled for a few to get back to sleep. Overall I feel it may be an anomaly and would try it again! Best layout for 4 people I’ve seen. There are 3 doors and two rooms. A door for the main hallway and then a foyer and locking doors for each room. The main door can be left open if desired. Not bad for older children. The resturant is small but it works. Dinner was averaged price. Alcohol drove up the bill. 😝 The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Air worked well, but you can’t come back to a cool room due to a key being needed. Just like a cruise ship. But it cooled down quick. Shops and the Parthenon were easily accessible. Easy to get to the port and airport. Overall I would give it an “A” rating and take away the “+” due to the traffic

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The safe didn't work, and our second room for our kids didn't have the greatest water pressure in the shower and it got the floor wet. The location is fantastic and the service was great. We would stay there again!

Staff were very friendly and helpful for our entire week assisting with advice, directions, and transportation. Location was perfect for Acropolis, museums, shopping, dining, travel booking for tours and cruise s, and atmosphere. Was on a family vacation trip and felt safe and secure in the hotel as well as surrounding area. Cheers

This is a wonderful hotel. The view from the rooftop restaurant is just too good. We stayed in the family room (with 2 kids)- two interconnected rooms and walked everywhere. If we were to go back again, we will definitely stay here again. Breakfast is also good.

We stayed here with our teenagers in the family connecting rooms. They are perfect for a family! The location was an easy walk to everything you would want to see. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious on the rooftop and the front desk staff helped with taxis and went above and beyond when we needed some extra help. Highly recommend!

Overall we had a great stay out room was clean and nice. We had a great view from the balcony and the roof of the building! The breakfast was fantastic because of the food and the view overlooking all of Athens. We would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!
