25hours Hotel The Circle

This is a great hotel, the space theme is brilliant and the kids loved it. The rooftop restaurant is brilliant as well.

I was recommended this hotel to stay at by my work colleagues who live in Cologne. Although it is 15 mins walk away from the city centre and the cathedral, the hotel is certainly worth staying at and the rooms are excellent and you receive a free mini bar. The reception staff are very welcoming and accommodating, always there to help with your needs. They provided me with an iron when I asked for one, and I was also able to leave my luggage behind reception on the day I checked out and attend my lunchtime meeting, before coming back to the hotel to get changed and continue to leave my luggage behind the reception before collecting it later on in the evening before my nighttime flight home. The monkey bar is excellent and there are plenty of seats outside along the balcony, as well as inside. The views from the monkey bar are excellent and you can see across the whole city of Cologne. The breakfast in the main restaurant was great and offered a variety of options. I even had rice pudding for my breakfast every morning. I haven’t had rice pudding since I was a child and I am now in my 40s so this was nice for me. You could also have breakfast outside along the balcony too. I bumped into somebody at the airport coming home and they said they didn’t stay in that hotel but he did go there one night for a evening meal and the food was out of this world. I think the next time I stay in Cologne I will have an evening meal in the main restaurant. Overall an great stay and good value!
